some of you may remember that i posted a while back wondering whether to jump Blacky, as she's 26. well i did today and it was brilliant! it was my first time ever jumping but she was great with me!
anyway it started off because the stupid farmer up the track had his yard fenced off (it's supposed to be a public waypath!
) so we couldn't get through to hack anywhere except round this little track that only took about 10 minutes. so we went round twice and go to this woody bit and we thought "hey lets go in there"
so we went in and there was this log and we were walking up to it and Blacky just started trotting and jumped it (with me nearly bouncing out of the saddle!
) anyway, it was super fun so we went back down to Mossburn and asked if we could go down to the paddock where the jumps are for a bit and we were allowed
so we went down and she was great! i've got videos of this too but they're on my phone and it's not sending messages!
it was such good fun! she went all hyper and started cantering around the paddock and then she thought it would be fun to canter up to a jump then slam on the brakes!
so i was on a major high lol and so was she - she loved it!
