well I wanted to do a nice calm walk and trot dressage test and get more than 50% as on previous attempts we have sort of done really badly and have broke into canter on more than one occasion in the tests

Well tonight Pidge was nice and calm until the judge beeped her horn and he was like "ooh jumping

" and got a bit keen

however the test itself was pretty calm, broke into trot just before the free walk and the free walk was hurried, and one 1/2 of one 20m circle we kind of drifted a bit, but

wait for it

we got 54% and no canter at all

We came 11th out of 11 so just missed out on a rosette as they give them to 10th place (who got 60%)

but I am so chuffed with Pidge. I know it may not seem like a huge achievement but to me it is so just wanted to share

Well done S. and Pidge, reaching your own goals is great, never mind what other people think! Shame about the rosette though, you'd have thought they could have given you a 'special' lol

thanks honey

a special rosette would have been nice, Pidge is very special to me and had extra carrots in his tea as well

ooh dear jogging is very tiring

unfortuantely for me Pidge's favourite pace is canter and we have no need for spurs or stick! So I'm well happy
