took moses on his first busy road today, to do a really nice ride we have to do 200yards of a horrible road where numpties drive like twats!! took him with a steady reliable horse and we met a juggernaught....he din't bat an eyelid even when the air brakes went off, some motorbikes, plenty of idiots sqeezing by in cars
, and some cyclists, and he was just soo good with the lot! i am sooo pleased as my other horse has issues with traffic from her past, that make this ride a nightmare...
he also had his first canter, and wow!! what a feeling, there is so much power from that great big ass of his!!
just got to get over the hurdle of getting him to take the lead now, any sensible tips??
i know it sounds stupid but my mare wouldn't hack alone at first but i tackeled it, but i can't remember how!? as it was that long ago, so advice gratefully recieved!
