Wellies went up the spout! Find me some new ones please!

My replacement pair of Ariat Mudbuster wellies finally went up the spout today with cracks in each foot along the sole seam line. I don't think I will be buying Mudbusters again as my first pair broke in January after buying them last October (so just three months of wear) and now the replacement pair 9 months later.

The last Hunters I had cracked across the sole of the foot and the cheapy £9.99 ones you buy from Shoe Zone/Wilkos/etc, last a MAX of 3 days of you are lucky.

I had a pair of nice farmer green Dunlop ones but they only last about 6 months.

PLEASE can someone find me a pair of wellies that last! I'm so sick of continually forking out on these blasted things.
 
muck boots! Derwent type especially coming into winter and warm and robust! Derwent have good grip which is needed in muddy fields. Not found anything to beat them although my Joules wellies supprisingly did quite well!
 
Mudruckers as an alternative? Tynes so you don't have to change footwear to ride?

I was in Sports Direct.com today and they had a dazzling array of wellies and muck boots. If you want long lasting, go for the industrial ones e.g. Karrimors. I think the trouble, I found, was wearing them constantly. Mine all shred within months becausei can't be bothered change into other boots when I should.
 
I have seen the Gumleaf ones and thought they looked quite nice as they resemble Ariats.

Mudruckers are hard to get on my feet though, I tried a pair on once and the arch of my foot is too high for the boot's instep. It hurt me trying to get my foot into them :(

Muck boots fit me but everyone I know who has had them, has had them crack across the top of the foot too. It's a shame as I look the look of them too!!

I didn't know Sports Direct had wellies now, I may ask my OH to bring me to have a look.
 
They are totally fab Cinammontoast, and so comfortable too, I can walk for miles with no blisters! When my current Gumleafs finally wear out I'll be buying another pair.
 
Oh I might add these Gumleafs to xmas list. Just out of interest what do you wear? I would either need the zip ones or the wide calf ones. I have balmorals on my list atm, but you sound like you put yours through what I do.
 
I've got the wide calf ones Toffee, super comfortable and the amount of cow and horse wee they've had to wade through, I am amazed they haven't cracked!
 
Aigle have been the best i've ever had. I've bought Hunters (uncomfortable), joules (split), ryedale (major split), La Crosse (wore out INSIDE so then very uncomfortable) and currently have some by Toggi as they are funky coloured but I don't think they are going to last too long. My Aigle ones lasted well and I walked miles in them every day as well as mucking out etc. I will buy them again next time, they work out cheap in the long run.
