I have some joules ones, very pretty but not very comfy! my best pair are some really cheap Dublin ones that i got at hickstead for about a tenner when it was a mudbath and they are so comfy and lasted ages and ages.

I have had lots of different types but none last as long as other peoples even when i have the same make as them. I think its because i do a lot of road walking in them as i walk to and from my fields, or is it because i walk like a duck????

I used to buy nice funky wellingtons that looked nice but didnt last 5 minutes. So i bought a boring old green standard pair from countrywide and they have stood the test of time so far, much better than previous funky pairs

Definately NOT Joules... I was most disappointed with them, I got through 2 pairs in one winter both cracked at the heel, then I saw the same happen with a friends pair!!!..... Nice colours but not up to the job, and I'll also point out that horses are my hobby so wasn't even in them all day!!! I bought a pair of toggi as all my other toggi clothes have been excellent, and their wellies do not let them down, I just got the landies wanderes so only about £30 (from memory!) I got the pink ones!!! And they have so far done last winter and been worn on and off through the summer and now, and so far so good no signs of any wear and tear! The rubber is very soft and they are very comfy too.

Get ladies hunters, fab fit for female legs so can wear them all day BUT quality is not fab these days so make sure you search online for the place with the best offers; you can get them for £30-35, as opposed to £65ish RRP.

Le Chameau every time, I have had mine aroun 14 years, looking faded in colour, but atill going strong and showing no signs of giving up.

Bare in mind they are on my feet every day for at least 4 months of the year.

Expensice yes, but I was buying 2 pairs og hunters per year before that

I swear by Le Chameau Vierzonords ... they're expensive but when you consider how often they get worn (for me, it's every day for at least 6 months, and most days in the summer) and how long they last, they're worth it! Also really comfy and keep your feet toasty in the winter
