Wellington Elementary AF Report

Firstly well done on how you did. However that judge was so rude to you. It also seems very unprofessional what she said about Andrew. I reckon there might have been a hint of jealously from that judge and that is why she was so rude.
 
actually it did help, as she obviously thought i was inaccurate (which i wasnt, its on video btw, so i watched it back and her comments were unjustified) so now im going to be even more conscious about how accurate i ride. Either way i didnt go to argue with her (as you seem to think that i did?) just to ask her why she gave me the marks she did. I found what she said interesting, altho some of her sarcastic comments (like about my trainer) weren't particualarly helpful.

I just got the impression you thought i spoke to the judge to start an argument!! Ive had far worse judging decisions than that before, but as Archie is new to elementary i was interested to find out why she marked as she did! Like i said, altho some of it was helpful, some of her comments weren't either!!

As you say, it's only his 3rd Elementary and if you think back not so very long ago, you were pleased if you just finished a whole test without retiring!

Good on you for speaking to the judge.

Sometimes it seems as though they were judging a completely different test to the one you were actually riding! But that's a reality of dressage, unfortunately. Well done you and Archie.

Well done hun! Dont worry about the judge, sometimes they just decide they dont like the horse and they drop a few marks here and there.... Glad you still managed to get in the prizegiving, I guess thats why at the bigger shows they have more than one judge!
