....I am the proud owner of a gorgeous Section a youngster - he came today after much searching for the right one!

His passport shows his grandsire as Boniface Llewelyn and his damsire as Trefaes Orange Pip (Revel Orange Pip and Revel Jack further down lines).

Any one with A's with similar breeding ? Or can tell me a bit more about the two stallions ?

My boy is currently a dark blue roan with a steel grey face, I'm hoping he will remain dappled - his parents are chestnut and grey.

My last A had a lot of Friars and Coed Coch breeding so I'm not so knowledgeable with these names !

Aww , have you got any pictures of yours. Mine is 4, rising 5. He is ridden by an 8yr old girl at the moment but is also broken to drive

I only have a few photos taken this evening when I spent time with him. I'm in love already - he's adorable, slightly wary at first but very nosey!

You will have to remind me how to add photos ? Haven't done it for a long time on here!

Thanks for your replies guys - I find breeding facts and info fascinating.

Very nice pony, nice and stocly. I love welsh A's, have had a few. Also had a stallion Trafaes Black Jack, but he is a section D.
Good luck with your little fella

The people that run the Boniface stud are my parents neighbours, we have known them for years!

We had a lovely typey section A from them a few years back by Boniface Llewellyn.
