I'm hoping somebody can offer me some advice!

I have 2 Welsh Bs. One is rising 5, the other rising 2. Both have been living out 24/7. They have moved to a new yard on Friday where they are now being stabled overnight. I am offering them ad lib hay but they are choosing to eat very little.

They have both dropped off considerably because this relentless weather and are looking leaner than I would like. I am happier for the 2 year old to look lean but not so much the other.

Currently they are fed twice a day on Healthy Tummy but I feel they now need something more conditioning. The 5 year old will be starting more consistent work so I will be needing to provide enough energy to fulfill that need.

Could anybody suggest a good feed plan for both? Thanks so much!

Unless they are very underweight, I wouldn't want to feed them up. I actually like natives to be lean coming into spring, they soon pile it on when the grass comes through. My two are both pretty lean now, but despite the fact they do more work over summer will both be perfect size by summer, & although not unhealthily overweight by autumn they will be on the large size. Which means if they aren't lean in spring, they'd both be on diets by June.
