I really need help.

I desperately need some info on a welsh cob.
I have a name and a registration number but am having no luck finding anything online on any of the Welsh sites.

I'm wondering if any Welshie fans can help me or point me in the right direction? Please?

the welsh pony and cob society should be able to help
we used to breed cobs and i am sure they could trace it for you if you phoned their aberystwyth office if you had no luck online

Thank you all, very much!

I've found out that her dad was Cippyn Red Flyer, and her mum was Penpontbren Lady Rose, and she's 21yrs old.

I've been offered her for meat money basically, and was wondering if she was worth it.

Say's she who proclaimed recently that she would have any horse apart from a Welsh D.

How embarrassing....

The mare is by Llanarth Lord Nelson who's rather gorgeous and Cippyn Red Flyer has good breeding too, so your'e getting good breeding lines. What's she like?

Cipyn Red Flyer is very nice. I looked at one whose sire was him and they wanted a lot for it, relative to what I wanted to pay. They wanted 3.5k

It was nice but about treble my budget!

It was only a couple of weeks ago that I posted on here, looking for ideas for an adults pony. I stipulated that I would consider anything..............apart from a welsh cob...

Still undecided tbh. She is a nice girl, but I'm a bit concerned about her age...

She's jet black, has a white blaze, though not an over wide one, not too heavy and not too light, and about 14.2hh. Quite pretty really.

I should have taken pics of her...

Would dito Fruity, i have one and would recommend them to anyone, especially if you are saving a life!

Well if I don't have her, the woman who is selling her has another prospective buyer, so it's not a desperate situation.
Had it been a choice between me or the knackerman, I'm such a soft touch that she would have been installed in our paddock by now...

I think her age is putting me off tbh...

I actually like oldies and have a lot of time for them, but how long would she last me before I had to retire her?

Her sire who was cippyn red flyer was one of the top rated stallions. he was my favourite, so much so that we have had two of his youngsters.
Sadly he died approx 3 years ago-his last home where he was at stud was-llanfyllin welsh cobs.
I am sure your mare is lovely.
