Hi
I hope this is OK to post. Does anyone know of any breeders of TB x eg. cross Welsh D/ID/Connemara. I am looking for a nice youngster (3 +) ready to back or bring on with potential to do BS and BE about 1m 10 eventually. I am struggling to find this - they seem quite rare. Prefer if within 3 hours of Suffolk.
Thanks
Emma

You might be more likely to find some really nice TB x ID/Connemara youngsters in Ireland... which is maybe not much more than 3 hours away on a plane?! Check out the Irish Horse Breeders page on Facebook.

If you are also thinking of TBxID why not look at TBxCB, I know of a gelding who is 1/4TB from a VERY reputable breeder, pm if you would like to be put in touch.

I have a superb ShagyaxCB bred to jump but she is only a yearling!!! I also know of a just backed CBxwarmblood again a breeder who has bred eventers in the past and knows her stuff. This one is actually a coloured horse.

I'm afraid that I've just sold my last homebred, but I wanted, and got, very good money for him. If you find anything for sale by my stallion Felinfach Tory Boy, snap it up. He hasn't got much out there but his stock are all jumpers, some doing very well BE, and they are all very nice people. I'm in Suffolk, but haven't bred anything for some time as there was no point to it, and I haven't got the grazing to stockpile youngstock until the market picks up. I know I'm not the only one, but there is going to be a dearth of nice young horses soon.

Have you had much luck yet?
I have a 2 year old for sale, beautiful bay very bold but well behaved etc. We are up in Lancashire though so may be too far for you. Let me know though if you would like any more details.
