I don’t like these staying chases in heavy ground. Not nice viewing, very often.
At least they tend to come home safe, even if exhausted.

Watched them plough home yesterday which I agree wasn't great viewing.

So pleased to see so many jockeys pull up in the heavy ground. Was worried about the big dog when he was pulled up so quickly after a stumble but just heard it was a tack problem (both reins on one side?)

Yes he had both reins on one side so had to pull up, was definitely tough going and a slog which seems to happen most years as Chepstow is so wet.

Good I was hoping he would be, also pleased to see Taking Risks retired after pulling up yesterday
I reckon NR will end up with Richard Johnson, he'd make someone a cracking eventer or sj.

I follow him on Instagram and he has Menorah who I think he hunts and rides with his children, so NR would probably fit in perfectly. I don't think it's been announced where he's going but would just assume he will have him. He'd be a good advert for ROR, hope we see him parading.
I don't jump but I wouldn't mind jumping a line of fences on him or Frodon!
Least they've made the right decision re NR, shame Tiger Rolls "owner" is happy to keep flogging him to prove a point.
