I am going to look at a welsh D cross tomorrow, rather gorgeous looking mare. I have not had many dealings with Welshies - anything I should look out for temprement and health wise?

Welsh D's are generally very full of character. Many can be full of them selves and bolshy so watch out for this. They are also very clever, and some do struggle to keep the weight down. However depending on what she is crossed with she may well struggle to keep it on!
