Welsh x Percheron!

How is this physically possible? I suppose a welsh D and a small percheron but look at this: http://www.gwhc.co.uk/Forsale.htm (at bottom of page)
The height makes me think a smaller section but if ever a horse was a welsh x percheron it would be this one, looks exactly like what you would expect!

Looking at the picture I think the description has got to be wrong, surely with that cross you would have somthing far more chunky and with a lot m ore bone.

I dunno, i think he looks like a minature percheron. We have 2 pures and thier not as heavy as you'd think and only 16hh and 16.2 a piece plus clean legs. I'm tempted to e-mail the seller to ask! I'm thinking an excaped stallion job if that is its breeding

yikes how gutted would you be if your beutiful fresian mare got knocked up by a squat little shetty... although it could work out quite cute depending which traits it picked up from who *imagines*

The blue and white mare in my sig has 1/4 percheron in her, you can really see it in her face, and she has the most fantastic temperament

1/4 makes more sence. was trying to think if pony was 3/4 welsh but somewhere in its lines would be a 1/2 n 1/2...
