Little update again about my welshie baby (4yr old) 
Trying to get him out every other day, seems to work well for us both during this time of year. Went for a hack with another horse the other day - he was such a good boy, had a baby moment when a horse popped its head around a gate and gave him a massive fright and he shot forwards but soon stopped.
He had yesterday off and today he did 15 mins in the school, laid out 6 trotting poles and he went over them all without a second glance, he is so forward going and a very fast learner

I will get some ridden pics as soon as i can grab someone to take some!
Here he is after our ride looking rather pleased with himself - please ignore the mud! its not as bad further on down the field, i promise
and believe it or not he is hiding 4 whites under that mud!
