Went to Horse Trust on Saturday

I managed to gather up LOADS of stuff to take to The Horse Trust for the Amersham horses. Myself, my Mum and DublinBay travelled to the other side of Alesbury on Saturday and took, loads of rugs, grooming gits, feed, carrotts etc. The lady at Horse Trust was so over whelmed with it all and said that the public had been fantastic.
The Horse Trust have 14 of the worse cases, including the blind dun Mare. We werent allowed to see the horses as they are in quarenteen (sp) but we will be able to see them in two weeks time when they will be going out in the field for the first time. Most of the 14 there are 2 and 3 year olds, there is also a 6 month old aswell.
Also, the pregnant donkey foaled Friday night and Mummy and baby are both doing well

I am going again this Saturday, this time with the horse box so will report back again.

Awww - Well done you. We've found another yard that has taken some of the horses so we've piled together loads of rugs and headcollars etc for them and made a cash donation to the Horse Trust.
