Went to HOYS for the first time

Just got back from my very first visit to HOYS, not with George I hasten to add

It is my 40th B'day in 2 weeks time

and my sister arranged a surprise outing for me. Back in Feb I was told I needed to book a couple of days off work in Oct and would be going to visit my sister! So yesterday morning I drove to my sisters very early in the am and then off we went together, I have to say I did have an inkling

and when she took the NEC exit off the motorway I was very excited

We had a fab day, we had great seats with a really good view and I even got some retail therapy in as well! My sister isn't horsey but even she thought it was a great day out. What a lovely 40th Birthday pressie

Yes it was really lovely and thoughtful. I bought a winter riding jacket for myself and got a free fleecy jumper with it, George's presents weren't very exciting, a drop noseband and some hi-viz wear!!
