went to the dales society show this morning

and every one I thought was a winner - wasn't

It was a really nice event, especially watching the foals out for their very first outing with mum - very brave imho. Of course I wanted every one, and hubs got so bored he took himself off for a long walk. The photographer there even asked me questions about the ponies, cos he thought I knew what I was talking about, cos I was so transfixed Soon put that right.

Anyways, nice to see the boy's relatives in the ribbons (he's 1/2 dales). Some stunning stallions too with manes and action to die for !

I am jealous!! Would love to have gone but way too far oop North for me. Which stallion is your boy by?

His mum's a westwick girl, not sure about the stallion, didn't get to chat with the breeder this morning, as he was in so many classes ! His mum is actually in a field down the lane from us, with his full sister (also coloured)....the temptation, eh. But I'll find out soon.. sm x
