went in the british novice, and there where 57 in the class I think, and i was one of the last to go and i saw most people jump and i thought "no chance of winning, will just go for a double clear", but of course i got in the ring and my competitive streak took over and I went for it- and only went and did it
grin.gif
so thats my 3rd british novice win

went in the discovery, with the aim being to actually get into the jump off (never got into it before, usually have one down in the first half) and she was brilliant, flew round just had one down in the jump off (the front pole off a rustic spread so she couldnt really see the pole cos it faded in with the surface). so i am really happy
grin.gif
but i have now jumped out of british novice (£112 notional!) which is a bummer cos i only have 3 double clears BN, but ah well

And mum let me buy a new pink showjumping shirt with my money, and this photo from the british novice (not the best pic in the world cos photographer is abit crap

i think they did, well she didnt touch a single pole with her back feet (you can see them in the pic lol

), and i felt her flick out behind over a few of the bigger fences- gave me a much better ride than usual

Well done to you both.

I too have just jumped myself out of BN, and so just doing the Discovery. Not jumped JO of Discovery yet so not brave enough to do the 105cm.

thank you everyone

She actually gave me a feeling today that she actually might just be capable of doing some of the bigger stuff- the feeling she gives over the big spreads is incredible, actually feels like she is flying! so am very excited about her, although i was she was a little bit younger lol

ha ha, i don't think so!! i wouldn't have done the BN second rounds even if i had qualified- i watched this years second round and it was blummin' huge! just a good thing to put to her name really, when/if i come to sell her
smile.gif

ha ha, what a coincidence! Your lad was lovely, was speaking to your mum (i assume?) when you where going round the 90cm and she said he was only a baby and you haven't had him long; he looked really lovely
grin.gif

lol, yeah that was good old mum! she speaks to anyone!
he is 6 but only started jumping in may unaffiliated and then his owner immigrated 8 weeks ago so i got him!
had to jump the 90cm to calm him down as he likes bronking round his first class sometimes, naughty pony!
