Did not get back from SJ until after 9pm last night. Left Beacon in so he could have a good rest then left the yard just after 9 this morning to go XC
We went to EL where we had done the HT a couple of months ago and we got eliminated at the first fence and dumped!!
Well they have removed the said fence
He still had enough energy despite the SJ last night. Was his usual laid back self too. He had a few stops but at least I got him over the whole of the mini course and some of the Novice jumps too including the houses which are 90cm high and 1m wide. he jumped this from almost a standstill
He still insists on looking at every fence as he goes into it and then leaping over it, which throws the rider right into the air The girl I was with is much more experienced than me and she thought it was the way I was riding until I told her to try, as after the SJ last night I got way too tired to keep my leg on enough. She got thrown into the air too She also could not believe how fit he is
Overall VERY VERY pleased with him he was a complete star
