wessex clubman horse trailer.

IMHO they are better than an ifor....

Go and look at both... compare them and you'll see the difference

I have an olympia, so the bigger version, I like the gas assisted ramps, no spring to get the horses legs caught if the go off the side of the trailer.

Glavanised steel central partition which is fully padded, each side is fully padded. Tough galvanised steel outed with plastic coating (so no rust) the external of the ifor classics are thin wood with plastic coating.

Ours has plastic floor so no rust, rubber throughout, windown means u can see horse when driving, not just their ears like in an ifor....

Look through my previous posts, I did a long thread about ifors/wessex, I went to see both, build quality put me off ifor.

well we've got the choice between a wessex clubman or a ifor 510, my mare is a VERY dodgey loader and just wondered whether having the extra room in the ifor 510 would be benificial, even though she's only 15.2hh.

We have also been looking at a wessex (though the larger olympian version) and think it is better than the ifor. We were looking at getting an hb 511 as we need the larger size, but after looking at pretty much all trailers we reckon the wessex is the best. One of our mares is a funny loader which is why we are getting the larger one so it doesn't feel as daunting for her. I think the wessex seems more inviting and bright, especially the larger one. We were really impressed with it. Also, the ramp on the ifor doesn't seem as sturdy and is rattly when you are on it, which I think puts our mare off massively. The wessex one feels ever so sturdy, with no rattles or movement when loading. the wessex gives a smoother ride as well as it has more up to date suspension than the ifor. Was really impressed with them, especially as you can get them for less than an Ifor - I guess because they aren't such a 'tried and tested' name? This is the cheapest I could find so far http://www.trailertek.com/category/horse_trailers/
