West Bank Stables Yorks Anyone bought a horse from them?

Hi all
Seen a pony I like the look of at this dealer's yard. It's run by Louise Harrison. Has anyone had experience of buying from this lady? Pm if you'd prefer.

Have viewed the threads mentioned. Are you saying that Abbeyglen and West Bank are one and the same place?

Its not the same dealer as abbeyglen. Sorry but dont know west bank though never heardof them but going on posts on thread above I would look carefully as the lady at highfield definitely didnt want to be associated with this dealer - probably a very good reason for that! - Maybe pm her??

I just googled them and cant find anything negative? Seems they run a livery yard and do lessons aswell so may not actually be bad afterall, just go with your eyes open!

all you can do is go with an open mind, take someone knowledgable and get it vetted, cant say ive had experience with thembut poss worth a try if you like ??

I think pic is somewhere in Leeds - its the ad pic previous owner used to sell her but im not sure if its at her place or before she bought her, was a private lady though, sorry not much help am I lol

Thanks everyone who has replied so far.
Buying horses from anyone be it dealers, private sellers or dealers pretending to be private sellers is a minefield. There are plenty of rogues out there along with genuine private sellers and dealers who want to keep a good reputation but it's smetimes very difficult to decide who are the good and bad guys.
I've done all the usual googling on this dealer's yard and I too can't find much on the net so if anyone has bought a horse or pony from them I'd love to hear your views either via open forum or PM.
