West Wilts BE Novice - whats the course like?

It's a nice course, fairly flat with a slight uphill stretch somewhere on the course (depending on the direction). However, my experience is that the course is always up to height.

Have done the intro and pre novice there both this year, walked the novice course as well (for future reference!!)

There are quite a few jumps up to height, a few technical questions, but overall it is a nice flowing course, no hills and very flat. 2 or 3 stretches where you can pick up a nice gallop.

It's pretty inviting, and the SJ is generally not particularly up to height or technical. Most of the XC isn't particularly big, there's a coffin which always causes a few problems if it's in, but it's one of the nicer first time ones :) good luck.
