the day started with a 4:30 start as it takes 3 hours to get there. got lost on the way but got back on track just adding half an hour to journey arrived parked next to dressage arenas... got him ready for dressage and at 10mins before test wandered over and had a trot canter and went in and did a nice test.. couple of hours til show jumping went to walk cross country and watch some show jumping. got him ready for show jumping this took ages loads of people trying to go early so had 13 horses before me but just watched about 10 then jumped a couple of fences went in. He was pinging show jumping was cusing a bit of prob mainly the 1.15 upright downhill to an oxer. chocx was super and pinged round for a clear and they said his dressage was 30.5 so pleased as that could put him in for a chance of a placing so i thought might as well have a crack so got him ready put some grease on and went down to start forgot to put number on so trot bk to lorry and away to warm up again lol.. couple of jumps and were off 1,2 and 3 pretty straight forward, fence four which was a fairly beefy narrow hedge and he jumped this about five foot then a fan type fence up to a hedge under some trees with a ditch infront and chocx never jumped anything like it so wasnt sure what he would think and he gave me another massive jump over it. On to another hedge on to 2 strides to a skinny then 3 strides to a skinny hedge.. he was a bit green here but through clear round the corner to the coffin through that fine onto a double little green but good.. gallop round the corner to the owl horse awesome here onto the corner on 2 strides a skinny so super through this, down the hill to the bank to another skinny they like these lol.. a couple of easier fences around the lake onto another double good through this then on to final fence, hedge to a ditch to a narrow arrowhead gallop to finish super pony......

He finished with 4.8 times but i think there were about 15 inside the time out of four sections so wheeled tight i think..

He finished 7th and got a point for being double clear...

What an amazing boy Chocx is, his athleticism belies his age.
