went to this western demo today.it was a most enjoyable afternoon, very relaxed and informative.
first off,3 riders done a demo(one was riding a georgous mule who had not been doing westerm long)then we looked around the trade stand, real nice quality stuff and some amazing bling too.a feed stand and a lady who makes the most amazing custon show shirts.
then there was saddle fitting and we could touch the saddle on the horse and feel the fit of it with all questions answered.
then oh and i had lunch in the car(there was catering there).we missed the start of the backman talk.after that there was an english saddle maker who gave a talk and show us different trees and took a saddle apart for us to see.
then the main demo, there was a dressage rider and the western man both riding the different disiplines together and talking us through the different ways of going.all this with all questions answered.

its on tomorrow too.

Ah then the mystery deepens! That leaves the Mule with the changed name (Because the original was too rude over here)that's Blackpool way or Millie (Pants) the chestnut that used to belong to Rosie Thompson and now lives Leeds way with Liz.
Unless there's another I don't know of 'cos I don't think Widget in Wiltshire has started Western yet.
