Western Riding - where to learn?

I did have an excellent instructor but she moved to Wales. I got her details from the WES site - http://www.wes-uk.com.

We only had the basics as we only hack out and there are not many barrell racing Clydesdale around!

Very addictive - I now very rarely do any hacking in anything but the western saddle as it is just so comfortable and relaxed.

My OH will only ride western and Cairo took to it very easily at the age of 17.

Hi - nothing much in our area although we have a western clinic with Shane Borland at Barrow Farm (nr Blackmore in Essex, tomorrow). Clinic full, but spectators welcome. we tend to travel to clinics, and sometimes club together to get a trainer out to us. Where are you in London?

ok, generally organise them somewhere in Essex, Brentwood, or may be doing one in Felsted. How far would you travel? There is a very good weekend clinic planned with Shane, Lee Rutter and Catherine Wright for 12th & 13th May, but that's in Warwickshire. we usually organise a small western show each year too, this year will probably be Hockley way.

Thanks, I don't think I can make the clinic in May but anything slightly closer is doable. Keep me posted on the Western show - that sounds great! Kudu, do you have Bob Mayhew's contact details you could pm me? Thanks!
