Western saddle fitting

Does anyone have pictures of how ar back a western saddle should sit?

A friend has offered me a saddle if it fits but I'm not sure about how far back it should sit. Can't seem to find fitter local who can do a quick check. If it is the right size then I'll look more into it.

i dont think i have [pictres on my lap top i ride western too

i can add pictures once i get my new desktop its quite easy to fit though sits similar to an english saddletho you hook one stirrup on the horn while you put it on the back of the horse.

is it a true western or a mexican saddle

Thank you I'm in Scotland just outside Edinburgh. I have no idea wither it is Mexican or a true western? Sorry I had never thought about riding western until my friend offered me the saddle as her horse will never be ridden again.
