Why has westgate called their linseed oil flaxseed oil? are they the same thing or different?
Got a bottle of Westgate linseed oil. It was labelled as such in big letters. Then underneath it said 'Flaxseed oil'.?
I think they need to make up their mind about exactly what kind of oil they are selling!
Oil in bottle was a different consistency to my normal NAF Linseed oil. Not so viscious.

The consistency will probably vary greatly on temperature (is it warmer now than when you were feeding Naf?)

I found this on linseed oil:
Linseed oil is a yellowish drying oil derived from the dried ripe seeds of the flax plant (Linum usitatissimum, Linaceae). It is obtained by pressing, followed by an optional stage of solvent extraction. Cold-pressed oil obtained without solvent extraction is marketed as flaxseed oil.

In theory it might be better as has no additives

However likely its just where it was produced refer to linseed as flax.....
