Weston Lawns

Taking my 4 year old to Weston Lawns on Saturday but visited today as i've never been there before. Was slightly nervous as it seemed very posh and busy but i've been told saturday is 'pony day' so was a bit relieved. Just a few questions; is it one clear round, one jump off? also I know it's unlikley but do they let you walk around course on the pony to let them see a couple of jumps?

Don't worry about it being posh...it isn't at all, but it will be busy. You cannot walk your pony around the course, you can walk the course yourself & walk the distances between fences.

The schedule will tell you if there will be a jump off or if it will be 2 stage (i.e jump the first 8 fences clear & then be timed over the final 5). Sometimes however jump off classes will be changed to 2 stage if there are a load of entries as it save a lot of time.

Most of all don't get over awed about the place, it's just somewhere to take your pony to jump....enjoy yourself & don't forget to breath & smile.
