Is there anyway of reducing the stench that is ruby now the weather has gotten so wet? I bathed her Sunday but she already stinks :( she's also now in a massive run with a kennel during the day so don't think this helps but any ideas gratefully received! Does anyone else have this problem?

You could tack some plastic sheeting up on the sides of the run - leave some gaps for air flow but cover the worst sides to keep her drier. You can buy huge sheets of clear polythene on Ebay etc. like this

If the run collects big puddles of water you might want to consider modifying it to allow for drainage, e.g. create a base for it that's at a slight angle so the water runs off.

Hate to say it but dogs get wet, roll in stuff, pee on each other (happens regualry between Buster and Dylan) and thats dog ownership.

Equafleece however is meant to be really good for getting wet dogs dry quickly.

In my experienced wet dogs smell and thats life:)

Agree with this.

We got the thermatex rugs too this year - the ones with sleeves, and they work two ways - wick the moisture off a wet dog, or keep the rain off them for a while if you take them out in them.

Also find a log fire is great - dogs lie there and dry themselves!

Its wierd, but I find dogs that don't go out much smell worse, in a unhealthy way.
