Hit me with your top products for keeping hooves healthy over the increasingly wet mild and long winters!

I’ve exhausted my collection of random products bought over many years so looking at what to stock up now. I’m looking more at products aimed for frog/ sole health. Thanks

Red Horse field paste! Apply once or twice a week to the soles and frog, getting it right into the central and collateral sulci.

Originally formulated for use on brood mares who got very little hands on attention let alone their feet picked out daily 🙄, but now widely recommended for other neds.

It smells lovely, too.

I use eucalyptus oil, swan antibac and field paste.

Last year I was using the Lincoln antibacterial mud fever powder for the legs, but if they came in at night I would pick hooves wipe off mud with bedding and cover the legs and the whole hoof inside and out with it.

I think with it being a powder it helped dry them out a bit.
