wetting hay in this cold weather

Does anyone who feeds wet hay worry about it in the icey water, I do let it drain out but worry about it being so cold on the horses tummys.

nah I don't worry - they munch it quite a bit first which'll warm it up before they swallow,
if you're still uber worried, wet it with warm water

As Peacelily said, or steam it, I have to damp hay for one of mine, and that's what I do.

Dunking a net in water is not an option unless he'd like a hay lollipop!

No because the water in their water buckets will be just as cold...
