Ah she's about I reckon, just wedding planning and sulking cos there is no more shooting again for months :p :D

Actually GH will be the crazy lady living in a tent with all the dogs in the caravan. The reat of your post........yep seem in order to me!!

LOL - me and my mum were having the confirmation/soundness debate today, and she has loads of books going back to when GSD's were called Alsatians :D

Haha, so do we, would you believe, I was going through a jewellery box today and found an 'Alsatian League' badge. And a BAGSD badge, which is fun to say :p

Show her my 'BACKS!' post :p
(Actually don't, she'll think I'm a nutter)

(Tiptoes in quietly)
I was once asked years ago, if my dog was a German sheppard, or an Alsation.

( sneaks back out again)

Jeez louise:eek:....see what happens when I dont look into a post:mad:....im getting slagged off......u cheeky bunch of looney cows....there is nowt crazy about me, apart from my assosiation with u spazzer like spivs:rolleyes:

CC, she was short coated, and legs,?? She was a small dog.
I was always led to beleive that the GSD was called an Alsation durring the second world war, to stop any back lash against the breed.

Yep, correct but I am joshing - those are both things I have been told (straight-faced!) that made the difference between a GSD and an Alsatian.

I'll pass on the story about the bloke who swore blind he had a very expensive, rare Belgian Shepherd - it was a long coat GSD - talk about being sold a pup!!!

I have had that "discussion" so many times with people. I just love the ones who stop you when you are out with the dogs and tell you what lovely Alsatians you have, and that they have GSDs, the long coated ones. :D
