It's moving day :(
We got up extra early to make sure that everything was packed and in the car before starting to get Jerry ready - silly horse didn't realise he had travel boots on until he went to move and then proceeded to have a mini panic attack
The transporter was late  but once he arrived, we got Jerry loaded. He loaded easily but then started to panic when he realised where he was and started to cause a lot of noise by whinnying and kicking the box

We arrived at the new yard 10 minutes before Jerry did. He unloaded and went for a walk with the OH to have a bit of a nosey and meet some of the other horses.
He's in a single box in the feed room at the moment, but Im sure that's his idea of heaven :p
He's already settled in with a nice big haynet so hopefully i'll be ok to have a quick ride tonight if he's calm enough :D

so glad its over.
some pics (he was adamant that the haynet was more exciting than me taking his picture)

yeah he does, doesn't he?
I had a bit of a panic this morning when he started kicking the lorry - the last thing I needed was for him to damage it :p

trish c - nothing beats a pic of a big ginger bum
I love the second picture - "can i help you? i'm trying to eat over here" :D

aww thank you - he's been on a diet recently but I think I've got him where he should be :)
I think he looks great for his age, but I'm biased :p

Lovely boy and well done on a fairly stress free move, i've just moved stables, stayed on same farm, but gone to the other side of the farm into an american barn, that was stressful enough, like moving house all the stuff I had to shift over !!

ack i know - i have tonnes of stuff and nowhere to put it
I went back up to see how he was getting on and he seems absolutely happy as larry
I met a few of the yard staff and was informed that he seemed to be off his dinner - when I went to look, it was because he'd been given his slow release comp mix and supplements without any chaff or nuts :p no wonder he'd turned his nose up at it :D

We went for a walk in the outdoor school to stretch his legs - he's so nosey, bless him:

I can't ride tomorrow because of work so that will have to wait until wednesday but he's being introduced to the rest of the boys tomorrow (they only take geldings) so that will be interesting :D
