WFP may Retire After 2012 Olympics

hes not that old is he?? Still a spring chicken!!!!! I wonder what his reasons are if it is true, would be such a shame, but i guess he will train (hope)!!
 
i think good for him if he has an aim to finish on,..and wants some family time.. maybe he just wants to see his sons grow up before he misses them!..all that time away from home is sooo much and coping like that for years must put so much strain on the body.. i supose if he misses it then he could always come back..
 
It must be a mad lifestyle to have with a young family. My children are about the same age as his and so I can just imagine the pressure on them all with him being away from home most of the time for 4 months of the year (or more). I have often looked at Alice presenting the racing from every corner of the UK every weekend in the winter and then him competing all over the world in the summer and wondered how the hell they do it!

Good on him. Time with your children (and looking after your marriage!) has got to be more important than any number of trophies.
 
They brought that up on the Morning Line on Channel 4 at the weekend and Alice was laughing and said HnH must be very short of news to try and turn that into a story
