Does anybody recomend any makes/brands?

I am hopefully calling my saddler at some point today to arrange for a new saddle to be fitted. But I thought it would be best to hear what some of you think of some of the ones out there.

I really like the look of the black country one (with suede knee, seat and thigh rolls) and the Jefferies samford?

Does anyone have any of these or any others that they love???

thanks

The fylde Ray is wonderful, so comfy and is well cut to show off a good front, yet has enough knee roll to jump in. It is the same saddle made by Ray Simmonds of Walsall, only its cheaper to buy from Fylde saddlery, they have a good website, so have a look.

I have an Ideal working hunter which is really comfy. However, I can't jump my mare in it as she jumps too big, so I use my event saddle for working hunter and the working hunter for flat showing classes (if that makes sense to you)

Ive got a Ideal WH which i use for showing classes on one of my boys. It looks very smart and seemed fairly comfortable the last time i jumped in it which was quite some time ago!!

I would have to say Ideal too, but then i work for them so i am bias!!! Bear in mind we can make any alterations to suit you and your horse.... if you needed it slightly more forward cut or differnent rolls or shorter/longer in the flap......
Also recomend the range that Pete holds at Fylde, plus he's a lovely guy!!

Ideal soon to have much improved website and brochure, i'm working hard on it!!
