what 3.5 tonne lorries have the biggest payload?

My renault master has a payload of 1200kg - don't know if this is the biggest but would be suprised to find one that had much more.

This means my lorry can safely carry my 2 x 500kg cobs plus tack, water and myself but not much more.....
 
Marlborough Hunter on Vauxhall Movano. Uprated suspension. Payload (I think) 1500 Kgs. Although you can get two big horses on you will still need to be mindful of weight as people, fuel, tack, etc all mounts up.

I am sure Marlborough could advise further - they were very helpful when we bought ours some years back.
 
Can you get one that will carry two 17hh warmbloods plus water fuel, people, tack etc? What would the payload be for this?

I passed my test after 1997 so cant drive anything bigger than 3.5 nor tow a horse trailer but could I tow a small trailer behind for clobber if box wont carry all i need it to???

The towing restrictions aren't for horse trailers, they are for any trailer.

I would just bite the bullet and take your trailer test!
