What a Bargain!!!

Yesterday was the Christmas Fayre at The Blue Cross In Rolleston on Dove, Staffs. They had a second hand tack stall and I came away with two turnout rugs (a light weight Weatherbeater and a medium weight Masta), a jeffreys running martingale, a girth, a saddle cloth, stirrup leathers and a brand new set of safety stirrup irons, oh an a high vis exercise sheet. Think that's the lot. Paid a bit more than they wanted (rounded it up) but guess how much the lot cost me?!?! £20!!!!!! Didn't even have to lie to the OH how much I'd spent!

I know, i couldn't believe the prices. the most expensive things were heavy weight turnouts for a 'massive' £6.50. It seems that they only use their own stuff or new for the horses they have there and anything that gets donated gets sold on at these events
