Fantastic job JM07 they are looking sooo much better and happier, which sales did they come from by the way looking for a shettie myself, have been looking to loan but from past experiences so many go through the auctions that look like they could do with a good new home.

the two Smallest are Shetties, with the bay being registered with the Shettie Society..
the taller one is a dartmoor x Shettie...

i got all 3 from the New Forest pony sales..

Yours are actually very cute. How big are yours? Dinker is 39". Little toe rag reared and got me with his flailing legs when the dentist was here yesterday. Horrid pony!

Bless them - so sweet.

Will they stay on this field for the rest of year now, or will they move on to 'better' grazing at some point?

nope...they'll stay where they are...just the leccy tape will be shifted on a regular basis...

plus they'll have hay in the shed when the time comes..i daren't let them out into the winter grazing..they'd explode!!

Good point - I expect you have to watch them pretty carefully.

Look forward to further updates.

That's the problem with Sh*tlands, they get under your skin...or is it, they take off your skin, when you're not looking and concentrating on something else?!!!!
