I just luurve this pic of my cob (aged about 2) that my friend dug out recently.

Just goes to show you that what a horse looks like at 2 has little baring on what you end up with! I have definatly found horses tend to go through a bit of an ugly (not really the right word but you know what I mean, all unlevel and funny shaped) stage at around 2 (mostly) does look great now definatly!
 
It's a very sad story.

If you look carefully in the first picture you can just see part of a rather poor looking coloured youngster. As you can see in the pic below, it was so feeble it could hardly stand upright.

Sadly that youngster - now grown up - is still best friends with my cob; tragically both are neglected, underweight and unloved creatures.

He's a stunner, looks full of character and presence. How great to have the photos of him as a youngster too.
 
Thanks ISH. Sadly I didn't have any pics til this one turned up from Folara last week. I wish I had some of him at 6 months - the difference would really show then!!
