what a difference a week makes!

Well technically its ten days now since Bradley arrived looking like this

The vet was out and we agreed to waiting until next week to geld him. However he did get a quick MOT and after being wormed and having lice treatment he's been out in the field with his brother for a week. Now looks like this

I think he was tucked up from the stress of travelling last week as well as being underweight so he looked worse than he really was. He's a lovely sweet boy, still a little wary of being handled but if you move smoothly and quietly he has accepted everything I've asked him to do. Tommy is insanely jealous, his nose is seriously out of joint that he's not the only cute baby horse anymore! He kicks his door when anyone tries to talk to Bradley instead of him! I've started doing some "grown up" work with Tommy in an effort to distract him a bit!!*
The sooner they both get back into the main herd the better. At the moment its like trying to live with two teenage boys! And Bradley is getting very very dependant on Tommy so the quicker he makes friends of his own the better!

Thanks guys! He's my other boys full brother and the difference in the condition of the two when they arrived was amazing!
