What a difference a year makes!! (pics)

I went to the Hampton Sponsored Ride on Sunday. Last year's ride was the first time Zoom had jumped having only played polo before she lost her eye. I also had lost all my jumping confidence which i have been clawing back slowly this year

What a difference! She looks like a different horse. I had forgotten how little and scrawny she was before (not to mention how crap I was!). We are really starting to feel like a team and we're both loving our jumping now.

We also met the lovely mike007 off here and had a lovely ride with him and the gorgeous lance (Zoom is in love!). With him giving us a lead we did (nearly) all the big ones

It's so funny. Last year was the first time I had ever had a photo taken jumping and the first time I'd done cross country(I didn't learn to jump when I was a kid). I was so chuffed with my photo last year since it was the biggest fence we jumped on the ride! This year it was one of the smaller ones we did.

She jumped out of her skin. She is the most honest and genuine horse I have ever met. What a bub!
