Had a really good weekend as took the boys over Cannock Chase with Jo and Oz on Saturday as she has got a job near Reading and leaves next Saturday

we're gonna miss her

Then yesterday went to Somerford for the farm ride with sis and Sunny, Lisa and May and Olivia and ?
smile.gif
Weather was supposed to be 18 and sunny according to the BBC, hhmph try rain rain and more rain
mad.gif
oh well at least it wasn't cold

So just to bore you all rigid these are the jumps me and Pidge did
smile.gif
I was really pleased as I felt a lot more confident so managed to jump 7 fences we've never jumped before
smile.gif
and despite having 7 run outs throughout the ride I know they were because either I sat there like a muppet
blush.gif
or Pidge was having a good look and despite my legs being on we ground to a halt
crazy.gif
but every fence we stopped at we jumped it the next time round so I was chuffed to bits
smile.gif

So we jumped the tyres, pallisade, 2 steps down - water - 2 steps up x4, roll top (new), log, 3 steps down - 4 steps up x4, tyres - coffin - tyres x3, double of logs x2, large log x2 (refusal), tyres, pallisade (new), tyres, pheasant feeder, skinny rail, oxer with ditch under (new), rails, BIG tyres (new) at the top thanks to being in the middle of Lisa and Olivia and having no choice

, U shaped fence x2 (refusal), house (refusal), octagonal box (new)(refusal), telegraph poles x2, log pile uphill x2 (new)(refusal), blue log pile (refusal), double of steeplechase fences (refusal at 2nd part), blue house (new)(refusal), tyres and then a long gallop uphill and along to finish

I was pleased as when we did stop I didn't fall to pieces just represented and over we went so am really happy about that
smile.gif
and we jumped a fair few of my bogey fences that we've (sorry I've
blush.gif
) had issues with previously such as the house and U shaped fence
smile.gif

Can't believe how many more fences I jump now compared to last April where we only jumped a handful
smile.gif

Sorry no photos but it was that wet we were all soaked and we got totally changed after sorting the boys out before coming home

Glad you had a good time despite the rain.
I know what you mean about confidence - its a lovely feeling when it all comes together, especially when you get the better of your bogey fences (having had one or two of those myself!)

It was fabulous yesterday, I am absolutely knackered today!!! Oliva went to sleep in the wagon on the way home, as did the horses!!

May's behaviour was definitely better, and we jumped a couple of the bigger fences too! Felt much more confident with her, she was very point and pop yesterday!

Will have to do it again soon, was great to see Pidge and Sunny being Superstars!

you and me both I'm propping my eyelids open too! Chris stayed awake but the horses both went to sleep.
That roll top you jumped was massive
shocked.gif
you're much braver than me
smile.gif

Definately have to go again soon, though remind me not to get sandwiched between you two again near the BIG tyres
