Just a simple little thread, but every time he does things like this it fills me with joy!

I recently made a new friend, who loves all things nerdy and loves medieval stuff, especially horses! He's never ridden, but had seen lots at re-enactments etc..
He came over for a visit and we went to see Ned. I had a little go to show him and Ned performed beautifully :) even trotting, cantering and stopping by voice command like a pro!
I then asked him if he would like a little sit on Ned, as he's a little too heavy to do anything more (he's extremely tall, but not fat) he ummed and ahhed, but finally said ok :D

At first Ned took a step back, as if to say "Who is this huge person and why has he just grown 3 feet?!" As my friend stepped onto the mounting block. I patted Ned and told him it was ok and my friend did the same.

Ned was so good :) he just stood there and waited for instruction! Friend got off and was thrilled :)

I love letting (willing) none horsey people meet Ned, even just getting them to pat him or having a little sit on makes me feel such pride!
He has been demonised so much by so many people, but things like this prove that he is a good boy really!!
