My local newsagents gets H&H about 3 mnths after they come out in the UK, so I just got '12 Feb 09'.
Reading the hunting report for the Premier Harriers, Tipperary.

I don't know if anyone else remembers the article, BUT...
the horse the reporter (Catherine Austin) rode (Henry) sounds like so much fun!
I would love to own him and hunt him!
And from the photo of him on pg 38 he look as though he would have so much charater!

Ok over use of exclamation marks, but he just sounds and looks like such a blast, and I was wondering if anyone agrees?

Yup - I remember that article and thinking at the time, that would be the right sort of horse for OH!! Henry does sound like an absolute star (although not for the faint hearted...!)

Loved that picture! My OH had a horse called Foxy that was just the same- one day when OH had to leave early to go back to work,Foxy broke free and rejoined the hunt. When we eventually caught up with him,the huntsman was laughing about the big brown hound that enthusiastically joined the pack! He reckoned if Foxy could master the horn then he could hunt the hounds on his own!!

How funny that we all remember Henry so clearly - she was obviously so pleased with him that her enthusiasm bubbled into her article.

Funnily, my husband's called Henry and is one of the masters of our hunt and I really thought that if we'd been looking for a horse at the time, i'd have tracked down Henry.
