Just a quick update on Luna folks! She's come on so much, I'm really impressed with her. I know the Cleveland Bay breed is known for being a little stubborn sometimes but she is such a little gem!
Alana (my daughter) can now take her to the field on her own. She stands perfectly still at the gate until her lead rope is unclipped and she calmly wanders into the field with the others. Again when its time to come in, she patiently waits till last and Alana brings her in! I know a lot of it is routine and she feels safe with this but equally I can't help feeling impressed with how she's coming along. I've done some ground work with her and when I put my hand up she halts! She's so clever, hope I can do her justice!
Tonight I had a bucket of food on the ground and just said 'NO' and she stood still until I put it in her feed trough and invited her in. So respectful! Kinzzy would of ploughed through me to get to the bucket!
Saying that we haven't tackled much independant work yet like loading, travelling and going to shows! Thats next! Might all change then!
