Madam_Max - hope this doesnt upset you. Just wanted to show how grateful I am.

Just wanted to let you know what a nice person Madam_Max is.

After recent problems with Chantin and her mud fever I PM'd her about the Original MTG by Shapleys, re info on where to get it from as I could only find it in the USA, cost and how well it worked etc

Well she has very kindly sent me her bottle (very nearly full). It arrived yesterday. Cant wait to try the stuff out!!!

Maybe she had her motives as she knows how much it smells and I dont!!

Aww that is so nice.

I hope it works for you - I've never seen such an amazing product for mud fever to be honest. I think it is great stuff but yes it really does stink!

told MM that im going to take 2 face masks down - 1 for me & 1 for the horse!!! if its as bad as she says!!! ill see tonight how bad it is.

I really hope it works - nice thing is the bottle has all the advice on for all the different things you can treat -no more looking for the tiny piece of paper or the box when youve thrown it!

I too have been looking for this - emailed a couple of places in the US who have it online but most don't ship to UK - or charge a fortune in extra handling fees!

Any ideas where to get some from - unless Madam_Max has a stock she wishes to sell

Fingers crossed it works for you!

I have also emailed I bet they wonder what is happening but my young horse has mud fever and I've tried everything but it just doesn't go completely and then flares up again. Its not reall practical to keep him in as he is young

Oooh, I see a niche in the market here!

My mother is always back and forth from the USA to the UK! I could be shipping this stuff out to you all!

*goes off to plan how to make a million using mother's baggage allowance*

tell me about it - this is the same problem im having with my youngster. Shes been out to play in the field twice in the past fortnight. shes going mad in the stable

cheers MFH i certainly will - didnt get to wash her leg tonight (bottle sasys if any other treatment has been used area must be washed before applying) as all liveries were milling about at yard so might have to be after her lesson on Saturday.

That was a really nice thing to do. Must admit I have never heard of the stuff - sounds as if it is worth finding out more.
