Any how - on friday it hadnt been delivered so i e mailed her to ask when i should expect it - she replied that she had sent it, but that the one i had ordered was out of stock so she had sent me the English leather more expensive one instead!!

I remember when my Mum had just been diagnosed with breast cancer that day (fortunately she is all clear now) and I was in Sommerfield buying her some flowers to cheer her up. A random chap in the queue in front of me asked me whether the flowers were for a friend for her birthday and I replied that they were for my Mum and just blurted out what was wrong with her. He turned around, picked up a bunch of flowers, paid for them and then handed them to me saying "here you are love, add these to your flowers you have for you Mum, I hope she gets better soon". As I walked to the station to get the train home, I actually starting crying about the random act of kindness handed out by some bloke I didn't know and would never meet again. God bless him.
