What a lovely week I have had

I have spent every day at the yard with Ellie for the past 12 days!

We have ridden out nearly every day, including a nice ride with Gingermare

and other than that we have just chilled together. Grooming, poo picking (sitting in the sun in her field), cleaning tack, having a bath etc etc. BLISS!

Today she chilled in her field and I went to watch the XC at a local yard where my friends got 3 1sts and a 2nd

Tomorrow I am off out with a group of friends for a nice long ride and then out with different friends for a meal tomorrow night

And the best thing of all.....I have another 8 days off

Anyone else having a nice long Easter break?

you lucky bugger. Saying that Ive spent the last 4 days with my girlies, its a shame I had to spend 3 days in hospital or I couldve spent them with the girls too. Ive got another 2 days with them before going back to work.
Isnt it just lovely spending time doing nothing but enjoying their company. No rushing at all. Doing everything you want, when you want. And even better when the sun is shining.

Absolutely

Mind you my hubby is home on Thursday so that might curtail my freedom a little

but I have really enjoyed just being with her and I think she has enjoyed it too

We recently moved yards so it has been nice to have a bit of time to explore our new environment and I think Ellie has appreciated the suppor tof me being there. Although I have been slightly blown out for the nice 2yr old gelding in the next paddock me thinks!

well the younger ones do seem to take priority. OH may spoil your time but at least youve had lots of time with your girly without him whinging

Yeh. It has been lovely and I am looking forward to hubby coming home too really

He is quite understanding of my addiction most of the time

No he isn't most of the time so i am lucky.

Is this at the yard you moved to a few weeks ago? Really pleased that you have both settled in well there. Any regrets?

Yes it is Tia.

Absolutely none!

Ellie has settled in happily now (I turned her out in one of the other paddocks for a few days to mix and she has been much happier since.)

They are in the process of clearing an area to build us an outdoor school

and the people are all lovely. I get on really well with them all. We are getting a picnic table and chairs so we can sit and natter and organising a BBQ too

I can walk there twice a day as it is only 12 mins walk from my house and when they go out 24/7 she will literally be 2 mins from my house

BLISS!

All things work together for good eh?
