Some top riders come across like butter would not melt and they think sooo much of themselfs it's not heathly. Well there is one in dressage who is not the nice person you would think he is. It is just sad that his fans dont see the otherside of him.

What are you going on about?

Not everyone can be nice all of the time, especially when they have a business to run. Coming on here to badmouth doesn't really help. Surely if you have a grievance you should take it up with the person concerned and be adult about it......

Do you personally no the person or have you just met them?

I train with alot of the top riders, their good at what they do, theres no getting away from that. Im sure the person doesnt realise that they are like that, its just natural because their used to winning/doing well/being the 'best'

In my opinion if its a professional traing relationships then if their good at what they do, why should you care ?!

Not the first post you've made being negative about a well known rider is it? I suppose at least this time you didn't get quite so close to naming names.

Come back when you can play nicely.

I think I know what you mean but only because Iv'e had an experience on similar lines.

Are you saying you know of a professional rider that you thought was god, and then you've experienced a lot more of them, and actually, they're not what you thought they were.

Even I'm confused now!
Perhaps best to keep it to yourself though.

Going by your previous posts, I can make an educated guess as to who you are referring to, but I am afraid that is just life. A good many people in public life have a super public persona - but they are still human just like the rest of us. Sometimes they are grumpy, or had bad news from home, or are starting a bad cold or are shattered because they have been up since 3am...and the fan they meet on that day is unlucky enough to go away with a bad impression of their former hero.

I don't want to be friends with top riders, I just want to learn from them. If i was good enough to be trained, say, by Carl Hester (which I am NOT), it wouldn't bother me whether he was a nice person or not, I would be more concerned as to whether he was an effective teacher, and i was learning the most I could from him.

its not ince bad mouthing people
remeber one thing you cant please everyone all the time and you cant be freinds either

its human nature -

and how are you- look- if you are like that on here how do you think you come across in a lesson and how do you think you come across to your horse

your thought pattern is picked up by the horse and his way of going

as vibe

and if some ones teaching you in a lesson there is more than one personalty-- theres you, your horse and your instructor

so think and look at home as in yourself to your own attitude as to how your comming across to people
