What a small world it really is! Amazing phonecall!

Well a friend asked me to talk to a potential buyer of her horse. Horse is lovely so i had no problem. Said buyer is in Yorkshire and we are in Hampshire so quite a distance.

So the potential buyer rang me and we were chatting about the horse when she mentioned her current horse's grandfather, Dutch Courage. Well, Dozzie's Great Grandfather is Dutch Courage. So that was funny but a lot of horses were sired by him so not amazing. Then she said her mares dad was Dutch Knight. Dozzies grandfather was Dutch Knight. Then she went on to say she bought her mare from a lady in Hampshire. Too spooky! Dozzie came from a lady in Hampshire. Then she mentioned her name....and blow me...she only owns Dozzies mum!

How bizarre but fab is that! LOL! I always wondered what happened to her mum. Lovely to find out about her though and compare notes. They definitely have similar traits. All good of course

Hopefully will be able to send her some photos of Dozzie.

Just got to find her son now!

Nice for the lady too as she had never know much about the offspring of her mare.
